3:30pm-1:30am We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to join a manufacturing team in Port Washington, WI. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining industrial production equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and preventative maintenance (PM) in a manufacturing environment. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 2nd shift. Maintenance Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on production machinery and facility equipment
- Repair and rebuild mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose equipment issues and recommend repair solutions
- Complete work orders and document repairs in the ERP/maintenance system
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and pneumatic schematics
- Perform general facility maintenance, including electrical, heating, plumbing, and building systems
- Fabricate and repair components using welding, sheet metal tools, plasma cutters, torches, saws, shears, and press brakes
- Assist with equipment installations, machine rebuilds, and improvement projects
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following OSHA, NFPA, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
Maintenance Tech Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing: Mechanical systems, Electrical systems, Hydraulics Pneumatics, Industrial machinery
- Experience with preventative maintenance, machine repair, equipment installation, and fabrication
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Knowledge of LOTO procedures, MRO parts ordering, equipment documentation, and maintenance systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preferred experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, Electro-Mechanical Technician
- Preferred experience in manufacturing equipment repair, welding/fabrication, PLC troubleshooting
