  • 6:30am Join our team in Schofield, WI as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic and put your troubleshooting, repair, and technical skills to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical systems, advanced pneumatics, advanced hydraulics, electrical, and machine drive systems
  • Troubleshoot PLC programs
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production times and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
  • Perform welding activities using arc, mig, and tig welding, and plasma cutting, and oxy-acetylene torch techniques to ensure proper and safe penetration
  • Perform simple machining duties and responsibilities
  • Perform building maintenance duties including but not limited to grounds keeping, snow removal, and building upkeep
  • Prioritize daily work orders/assignments while balancing daily breakdowns
  • Install machines properly according to manufacturer's specifications
  • Execute pipefitting
  • Assist in the organization and implementation of the preventative maintenance program
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance service
  • Operate hand and power tools including, but not limited to air tools, welders, and measuring equipment Requirements for
Maintenance Mechanic:
  • Associate's degree in a technical field and/or strong knowledge of industrial maintenance normally acquired through two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a similar position required
  • State indentured apprenticeship as a Journeyman Mechanic strongly preferred
  • Proven knowledge of basic electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Basic knowledge in electro-mechanical, servo controls, VFD and PLC diagnosis
