6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This is a hands-on position requiring strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle a variety of maintenance issues throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded industrial maintenance professional who is comfortable diagnosing problems, making repairs, and working independently with minimal supervision. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to :- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial machinery and production equipment
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs
- Maintain and repair motors, electrical systems, machinery, and related equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, heating, and facility systems
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, schematics, and written work instructions
- Identify equipment problems and determine appropriate repairs
- Complete required maintenance documentation and paperwork
- Assist with facility and building maintenance as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow company safety, quality, and maintenance procedures
- Assist or train less-experienced maintenance employees when needed
- Work cooperatively with production and other departments to keep equipment operating efficiently
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- 1-3 years of electrical or mechanical trades training; or equivalent industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Experience repairing and maintaining manufacturing or industrial equipment
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- General knowledge of multiple maintenance trades
- Ability to read manuals, diagrams, schematics, and equipment documentation
- Ability to troubleshoot a wide variety of equipment and facility problems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs based on production needs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Heavier lifting may require mechanical assistance or a team lift
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, crouch, and work around manufacturing equipment
- Comfortable working around moving machinery, airborne particles, electrical systems, and vibration
