We are representing an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician who will support day-to-day facility operations through hands-on repairs, inspections, and responsive tenant service. Our team is looking for someone who can help keep building systems running smoothly, communicate professionally with tenants, and know when to escalate issues for vendor support.
Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance tasks, including painting, pressure washing, lighting repairs, basic plumbing, locksmith work, and building upkeep where permitted. Identify and troubleshoot HVAC concerns, escalating issues to the appropriate vendor or specialist when needed. Respond to tenant service requests through the work order system and provide clear daily updates. Support preventive maintenance, building system monitoring, safety procedures, and occasional on-call or emergency response needs.
Required:
At least 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, repair work, or related trades such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry. Trade school education, union training, military service, or college coursework is preferred. Universal CFC EPA certification, or willingness to obtain it within the first year, is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer service-focused and professional demeanor. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work on ladders up to 30 feet, and frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift, and/or drive.
