JOB SUMMARY
Perform troubleshooting, maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance for all equipment and facilities. Assist production. Maintain the maintenance shop area in a neat and organized manner. Assists with the efficient operation of the production area by ensuring automation equipment is in place and running properly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow all safety guidelines. Maintain the maintenance shop and central storage area in a clean and organized manner. Knowledge of LOTO procedures. Required to use basic hand tools, test equipment, scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklift, etc. on the production floor and outside the facility. Troubleshooting and testing of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing and pneumatic circuits. Contacts Tech Support when assistance is needed, sends updates and orders parts as required. Maintain and improve all plant equipment by installing, replacing, or rebuilding components as assigned. Maintains the facility and equipment through preventative maintenance and repair work orders within Maximo work order system as assigned. Respond quickly to emergency situations and calls for additional assistance as needed. Ability to work overtime to cover PTO and planned machine maintenance. This may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Complete all scheduled/required training. Minimal travel for trainings may be required. Assists in production start-ups, shutdowns and changeovers as related to automation equipment. This may include but is not limited to: leveling and squaring automation , centering mechanical components, and moving automation from one press to another. Assists engineering and various departments with implementation and installation of new jobs and equipment.

SKILLS:
High School Diploma or GED required. 10 + years' experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: Plastics Manufacturing Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Controls, Mechanical, Electrical, PLC, or
HVAC. 10
+ years' experience required in Industrial Maintenance, troubleshooting complex servo driven systems, sensors, vacuum circuits, reading and interpreting electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings, and welding experience required. Experience in troubleshooting PLC's is required and must have a willingness to obtain training. (Training will consist of a combination of on-the-job training and formal classroom coursework). Basic computer experience required. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to complete maintenance training. Must possess mechanical aptitude. Must possess own basic hand tools for use on the job. #
