Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and facilities maintenance, capable of troubleshooting and performing repairs efficiently. The Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in maintaining safety standards, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous production processes. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and infrastructure. Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Conduct welding repairs and mechanical adjustments as needed to ensure equipment reliability. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation. Operate CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule work orders and document maintenance activities. Assist with residential painting projects as part of facilities upkeep when necessary. Supervise junior technicians or maintenance staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high-quality work. Maintain safety standards by adhering to protocols during all maintenance activities. Support customer service initiatives by ensuring minimal disruption to production lines and facility operations. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments. Pool/Spa experience a must Certified Pool Operator licensure needed within 6 months Strong electrical experience, including working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics. Mechanical knowledge with skills in welding, residential painting, and general repair techniques. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management. Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Supervising or leadership experience is preferred, demonstrating the ability to manage teams or projects. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork. Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work, welding, and industrial maintenance practices.
