Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, with expertise in appliance repair, HVAC systems, refrigeration, and mechanical maintenance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic environment, contributing to the seamless functioning of our operations. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs efficiently while maintaining high safety standards. Duties Conduct preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and appliances to minimize downtime. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify root causes accurately. Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, compressors, thermostats, and electrical wiring to restore equipment functionality. Perform HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) system servicing to ensure optimal climate control and refrigeration performance. Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to facilitate precise repairs and installations. Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams during facility upgrades or renovations. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while executing all maintenance tasks. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical maintenance. Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools necessary for troubleshooting complex systems. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, installation, and maintenance across diverse machinery types. Experience in construction or facility upgrades is advantageous but not mandatory. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently or lead small teams effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues accurately. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and documenting work procedures clearly. Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC/R or refrigeration are preferred but not required; ongoing training is encouraged.
