MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performs welding, pipe fitting and sheet metal fabrication.
• Performs compressor rebuilding and hydraulic repair.
• Performs rigging and general equipment repair.
• Uses a variety of materials to make alterations, installations and repairs on all types of plant machinery and on all auxiliary equipment.
• Must work in a safe manner, ensuring all guards and safety devices are in place after job completion.
• Must be able to read prints.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects.
• Must obtain a forklift license.
• Must perform all other duties as assigned.

May perform limited electrical troubleshooting, repair or installation within abilities.

4+ years experience in a manufacturing environment

• Must be able to read and write
• Must be dependable
• Must have a good attendance record
• Must be willing to be on call and work overtime as necessary
• Must have at least four years mechanical experience using the skills described in the job summary
• Must be able to lift heavy material and handle physical effort
• Responsible for the safety of others in the performance of job duties

Pay:

$33.00 - $39.00 per hour
