WYARNG T32
Dual Stus technicians employed within the Wyoming Army Nional Guard, but outside of CSMS. Videos Duties Help This position is in the Wyoming Army Nional Guard's, Deputy Chief of Logistics Directore (DCSLOG), Combined Support Maintenance Shop. The purpose is to serve as a working leader of three or more Surface Maintenance Mechanics. Performs mechanic duties such as maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and/or overhaul of a variety of complex comb, tactical, commercial, and special purpose vehicles and equipment having compliced mechanical and non-mechanical systems with a variety of interconnected systems. Provides technical guidance and specialized team leadership to lower grade employees. 1. Assigns work orders to specific crew members and selects workers for various jobs based on knowledge, skills, and abilities. 2. Ensures th there is enough work to keep everyone in the work crew busy. 3. Performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and major repair on heavy-duty mobile equipment, comb, tactical, and automotive vehicles. 4. Troubleshoots equipment with a variety of the mechanically complex major systems and diagnoses difficult performance problems and the cause of mechanical failures by means of visual and auditory checks, uses test equipment such as engine analyzers, compression testers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, pressure gauges and computer diagnostic tools. 5. Removes and disassembles engines and complex major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, fuel, hydraulic, and oil pressure systems.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
Must currently be permanent or indefinite technician in the WY ARNG. Must submit IPPS-A STP and SF-50 with applicion. Must possess or be able to obtain/maintain a
T3/SECRET
security clearance. May be required to successfully complete a two-year trial period. Relocion Incentive MAY BE authorized, if eligible. Subject to funding and TAG approval. PCS costs are not authorized in lieu of incentives. Must be willing to reloce own expense.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS & NOTES
Technicians are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT). Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, student loan repayment bonuses, and other educion incentives. Acceptance of a Technician position over 180 days will result in suspension or terminion of these military incentives. Military Technicians in the excepted service will wear the approprie uniform while performing as a technician. Veteran's preference does not apply to Nional Guard Technician positions in accordance with Title 32 USC 709(f). 1. Work is covered by the 5800-job family which includes occupions involved in repairing, adjusting, and maintaining self-propelled transportion and other mobile equipment (except aircraft), including any special purpose feures with which they may be equipped.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must possess experience or training which demonstres knowledge of equipment to be able to do routine jobs, simple preventive maintenance tasks, and can use common tools and equipment in the line of work.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Must possess experience or training leading to an extensive knowledge of the mechanical makeup, operion, and working relionships of complex interconnecting systems, assemblies, and parts for a variety of comb, tactical, commercial, special purpose vehicles, and equipment. Ability to diagnose, repair, overhaul, and modify interconnected complex systems on a variety of comb, tactical, commercial, special purpose vehicles, and equipment. Extensive knowledge of ste of the art electrical, electronic, complex hydraulic, pneumic, and other major non-mechanical systems th have a functional relionship and effect on the operion of major mechanical systems. Extensive knowledge of hydraulic lifting, loading, turning, and positioning systems and their mechanical, hydraulic, pneumic, electrical, and electronic controls. Skill and knowledge to develop or improvise methods, alter parts, and make repairs in the absence of technical guidelines (such as modifying parts to fit and mesh into systems for which the parts were not designed); improvise modificions to equipment to correct recurring malfunctions; and design modificions to meet special test requirements or other special needs. In addition to the journeyman level knowledge, experience which demonstres the ability to plan, organize, and lead the work of others in fields directly reled the repair function of this occupional series. Must have the ability to perform administrive functions; to read and interpret a variety of technical publicions used in the repair of supported equipment. The ability to provide guidance to others in work reled directly to this occupional series.
