Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced A/V Wiring & Cabling Integrations Technician with a strong background in audio visual systems, low voltage cabling and technology integration. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and integrating AV and low-voltage systems, including structured cabling, conference room technology, and audio/video equipment, such as Crestron, Q-SYS, Logitech, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Google Meet/Google Meet hardware . The role requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated professional who can work independently or as part of a team and who is comfortable working directly at customer job sites. This position requires regular travel to customer job sites throughout Los Angeles, and surrounding areas. Candidates must be able to reliably report to assigned job sites as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, terminate, test, and trace copper and fiber cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Coax, Fiber etc.).
• Install and configure conference room AV systems, including displays, video conferencing equipment, cameras, microphones, speakers, control interfaces, and room peripherals.
• Use diagnostic tools to test and verify cable integrity and signal strength.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues or signal loss.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations and repairs.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with job site standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in low-voltage wiring, structured cabling, AV installation, system integration, or related field services.
• Minimum 3 years of audio visual (AV) experience , preferably including conference room installations.
• Experience with one or more of the following is strongly preferred: Crestron

Logitech conference room solutions Microsoft Teams Rooms Zoom Rooms Google Meet / Google Meet hardware

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and at heights.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between job sites as required.
• This position requires flexibility in scheduling, as work hours may vary by project.

This includes the ability to work nights and weekends based on operational demands.

The position may require working on ladders or lifts, in confined spaces, and around active construction or installation areas. Candidates must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position and follow applicable company and job-site safety requirements.
