Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Low Voltage Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining low-voltage cable infrastructure systems, including video surveillance systems, access control systems, intercoms, and data cabling.

Key Responsibilities System Deployment:

Install, terminate, and test low-voltage infrastructure, including Fiber Optic cabling, Cat6, and structured wiring systems.

Integrated Solutions:

Program and service CCTV/Video Surveillance, Access Control, and Intercom systems, ensuring seamless operation.

Blueprints & Compliance:

Interpret architectural blueprints and schematics to execute precise installations that adhere to NEC, OSHA, and local building codes.

Troubleshooting:

Use advanced diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, cable certifiers) to resolve complex connectivity and hardware issues.

Client Engagement:

Collaborate with clients to provide on-site technical training and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Safety & Field Excellence:

Work safely in fast-paced construction environments, utilizing ladders and navigating confined spaces (attics/crawl spaces) as needed.

Required Qualifications Experience:

Minimum of 2+ years in low-voltage infrastructure installation and maintenance.

Technical Proficiency:

Hands-on experience with copper and fiber termination, locking hardware, and panel programming.

Physical Capability:

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work comfortably at heights or in tight spaces.

Certification:

Valid Low Voltage Technician certification or equivalent relevant licensing.

Communication:

Strong verbal and written skills for reporting and client interaction. Must have own tools and vehicle.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED.

Status:

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications Electrical Background:

Prior experience as an electrician or in general electrical systems.

Standards Knowledge:

Familiarity with EIA, TIA, or BICSI standards.

Professionalism:

A clean driving record and a professional appearance.
