Denver Techie is a UniFi network and low-voltage installation company serving the Denver metro and Front Range. We are hiring our first entry-level Field Technician, and we will train the right person from zero. No experience required. What matters is that you are handy, reliable, and want to learn a trade.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Install days are the job. You will be on site running cable, terminating, mounting access points and cameras, and getting sites finished clean, working alongside our lead tech and our subcontractors while you learn. Van upkeep and parts runs round out the role. You will train to a written install standard: outdoor-rated cable properly routed and fastened, every penetration sealed, service loops and bend radius respected, cable labeled at both ends, and every link tested before it is called live.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Recent high school or trade program grad, or otherwise just starting out. Genuinely handy, comfortable with hand tools, confident on a ladder, and willing to work in attics and crawlspaces. Reliable vehicle, valid driver license, and a clean driving record, because you will drive the company van. Picks things up fast, because we move quickly. Know UniFi gear already, or genuinely want to. This is a real path into the trade.

HOW THE RAMP WORKS

Paid trial: two or three install days at 22 dollars per hour before either of us commits. Weeks 1 to 3: shadow installs, learn the van, learn the gear. Weeks 4 to 10: hands on the work under supervision. Weeks 11 to 20: you lead the physical install with us on site for quality checks. Month 5 to 6: you run a basic install on your own. PAY 22 dollars per hour to start. 25 dollars per hour at 90 days once you pass a hands-on skills check. 28 dollars per hour once you are running basic installs on your own.

WHERE YOU WILL WORK

Home base is The Village Workspace in Centennial. Free parking, two full kitchens with free coffee and snacks, a fitness center, an outdoor patio, and a real community. Most days you are out in the field.
