This is not a general helper position. We need a dependable technician capable of completing clean, properly tested, labeled, and documented installations.

Responsibilities:

Install, terminate, label, and test

CAT6/CAT6A

cabling Install commercial surveillance cameras, LPR cameras, access control, intercoms, and gate-control equipment Build and organize professional equipment racks, patch panels, switches, UPS systems, and cable management Install and troubleshoot fiber-optic connections Diagnose PoE, cabling, connectivity, and device-related problems Read plans, lead small installations, and coordinate professionally with customers and property management Photograph, test, and document completed work

Required Qualifications:

Minimum three years of commercial low-voltage installation experience Ability to work independently without constant supervision Strong cable-management and rack-building skills Working knowledge of IP addressing, PoE, switches, and basic network troubleshooting Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record Own basic low-voltage hand tools Comfortable working from ladders and lifts Strong attendance, communication, and professional appearance Willingness to provide professional references and complete a background check Ability to provide photographs of previous installations

Preferred Qualifications:

Fiber termination, splicing, and testing experience Access-control and gate-automation experience Network testing or cable-certification experience OSHA, lift, BICSI, or manufacturer certifications

Compensation:

$35-$45 per hour based on verified experience and performance during a paid practical evaluation. Long-term growth and leadership opportunities are available for the right person. Selected candidates will complete a paid hands-on skills evaluation before a final hiring decision.
