From installing the voice, data, a/v, surveillance, access control cabling in a new build site and existing customer locations, to installing the network, point of sale and associated devices for the business operations. As well as maintaining their technology infrastructure. Network cable technicians must be able to install and terminate Cat5e and Cat6 Ethernet cabling and Siamese coax surveillance cabling. Capable of troubleshooting and repairing networks cabling. Knowledge of Fiber Optic cabling is needed. The skill to read and interpret site prints, technical manuals, scopes of work on a daily basis is required. Must be able to work under minimal supervision. Basic IT experience for service work and installing and uninstalling point of sale and network equipment is a plus.
