This project involves structured cabling, IP camera installation, wireless access point (WAP) installation, no configurations, and IDF cabinet mounting in a facility with high ceilings. The ideal candidates must be comfortable working at heights, operating machinery, and executing precise network infrastructure layouts.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work Structured Cabling:

Pull, terminate, test, and label 210 Cat6 drops for network connectivity.

High-Ceiling WAP Installation:

Install 21 wireless access points onto brackets attached to a 40-foot ceiling , utilizing drop poles to position the access points at a 20-foot height .

CCTV Camera Deployment:

Mount and configure 29 security cameras total (19 indoor and 10 outdoor locations ).

IDF Cabinet Installation:

Securely mount two (2) IDF cabinets on structural poles at a 10-foot height (accessible via ladder).

Fiber Optic Backbone:

Run three (3) fiber optic lines connecting MDF 1 to IDF 1, and MDF 1 to IDF 2.

Aerial Work:

Safely operate a scissor lift to perform high-elevation ceiling work.

Requirements & Qualifications Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in low voltage cabling, commercial structured wiring, and network hardware installation.

Lift Certification:

Proven experience operating a scissor lift (OSHA/boom/scissor lift certification is highly preferred). Comfort with

Heights:

Ability to work confidently and safely on a lift at heights up to 40 feet .

Technical Skills:

Proficient in routing and dressing Cat6 and fiber optic cables. Experience terminating RJ45 connectors, patch panels, and keystone jacks. Ability to read blue prints, schematics, and network drop maps.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions (for outdoor camera installs).

Tools:

Must bring your own basic hand tools and personal protective equipment (PPE), including a safety harness. (Major tools and lifts provided). Benefits /
