Contract-to-Hire Looking to get into the low voltage industry? TEKsystems is hiring Entry-Level Cable Technicians to support commercial construction projects throughout the Newburyport area. No extensive low voltage experience required. We are looking for reliable individuals who enjoy hands-on work and want to build a long-term career in telecommunications, structured cabling, and technology infrastructure. This role is a great fit for: Cable installers Electrical apprentices Construction laborers Helpers Anyone interested in learning low voltage systems What You'll Be Doing Pulling cable through commercial buildings Assisting with the installation of Cat5e and Cat6 cabling Learning how to terminate and test network cables Working with hand and power tools Supporting experienced technicians on job sites Maintaining a safe and professional work environment What We're Looking For Construction, electrical, or hands-on work experience preferred Ability to work on your feet and lift equipment/materials Comfortable using basic hand tools Reliable transportation Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Positive attitude and dependable attendance Why Consider This Opportunity? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Haverhill, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
