We perform commercial low-voltage and electrical work throughout New England, including schools, hospitals, retail facilities, industrial buildings, warehouses, municipal facilities, and other commercial projects. Our technicians install structured cabling, fiber optic systems, CCTV, wireless access points, access control, and other low-voltage systems while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and professionalism. We also perform public and prevailing wage projects, offering opportunities for increased earnings throughout the year. This position requires travel to project sites throughout New England. Occasional overnight shifts & travel may be required depending on project location. Responsibilities Install, terminate, label, and test Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling. Install cable pathways including J-hooks, cable tray, conduit, sleeves, and supports. Install and terminate fiber optic backbone cabling. Install CCTV cameras, access control devices, wireless access points, paging systems, and related low-voltage equipment. Test and certify copper and fiber optic cabling using Fluke and fiber testing equipment. Read blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings. Maintain accurate labeling and project documentation. Work safely while following OSHA requirements and company safety policies. Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and fellow team members. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site. Qualifications Minimum three years of commercial structured cabling experience. Experience installing and terminating Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling. Ability to read construction drawings and follow project specifications. Experience working from ladders, lifts, and other elevated work platforms. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Ability to pass background checks when required for customer facilities. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Fiber optic termination and testing experience. CCTV installation experience. Access control installation experience. Axis Camera experience. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. BICSI certification. Experience operating scissor lifts and boom lifts. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
