What you'll tackle Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing machinery; install, relocate, and dismantle equipment as needed. Apply general mechanics across pneumatics and power transmission systems specific to wire and cable operations. Perform welding and pipefitting; operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and additional machine shop tools independently. Execute preventive maintenance, 5S routines, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Keep your work area orderly and safe at all times while following plant procedures. Ensure output meets standards defined by the Plant's Quality Management Systems. Comply with all applicable safety procedures and

Able to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English. Additional preferred or desired education may be considered. Experience Manufacturing background preferred, or proven mechanical aptitude in a production setting. Completion of OJT for the specific job classification in a timely manner is required. Additional preferred or desired experience is a plus. Skills & Attributes High-quality workmanship and a consistently professional demeanor. Ability to work independently from verbal and written instructions. Comfort with basic computer transactions; ability to become a certified SAP user. Solid math and communication skills; commitment to mastering required job competencies. Capable of lifting or moving 50 lbs., and occasionally up to 75 lbs. Able to distinguish different colors.
