We are seeking established crews and owner-operated contracting companies with their own personnel, vehicles and aerial construction equipment. Experienced crew leaders with a complete team are encouraged to respond. We are currently building our contractor pipeline. Assignments and start dates depend on project availability, qualification and agreement on scope and rates. Work May Include Placement and tensioning of aerial strand Fiber cable lashing, overlashing and delashing Installation of pole risers, guy wires and anchor assemblies Transfer or relocation of telecommunications attachments Aerial cable replacement, repair and construction support Reading construction prints and following approved work orders Recording installed quantities, photographs and closeout documentation Completing work to applicable project specifications and correcting workmanship deficiencies Crew Qualifications Established aerial telecommunications construction experience Experienced crew lead capable of managing field production and safety Suitable bucket truck or trucks, cable-handling equipment, lashers, rigging, ladders, tools and PPE Ability to work safely around existing utilities and follow pole-owner requirements Appropriate licenses and qualifications for the vehicles and equipment operated Business documentation, W-9 and required insurance coverage before mobilization Professional references and examples of completed aerial projects Reliable communication and accurate production reporting Fiber splicing capability is welcome but is not required for an aerial placement crew. Please identify it separately when responding. Compensation and Contract Structure Compensation is based on completed, documented and approved production units. A detailed subcontractor rate schedule will be reviewed with qualified companies. Rates, material responsibilities, payment terms and project requirements will be agreed to in writing before work begins. Gross contract revenue depends on assigned scope, available volume, access conditions, crew productivity and accepted quantities. No minimum weekly volume or revenue is guaranteed. This opportunity is intended for an established subcontracting business responsible for its own personnel, equipment and operating expenses.
