Job Summary/Responsibilities:

Pull, terminate, test and label Cat5e and Cat6 Data cabling and fiber optic cabling Terminate data jacks and patch panels Install ladder racks, networking equipment and telephone equipment Perform testing and troubleshooting of equipment and cabling Build out telecommunications and equipment rooms Cable Pullers will have general labor experience (electrical/telecom experience preferred) Candidates must have their own safety gear set (hard hat, vest, boots, gloves, glasses) Candidates must have their own telecom hand tools for cabling (Punch down, snips/wire strippers, crimpers, and basic toner/tester preferred) Prior construction and commercial experience preferred Good attitude Ability to follow directions Ability to analyze and solve problems for troubleshooting Experience with pulling fiber and doing cross-connects highly preferred Flexibility to work additional shifts if required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong Communication (written and verbal) Must follow safety and security protocol Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Prior experience terminating Cat 5/6 cable Previous experience working in commercial environments Telecom hand tools and personal protection equipment required Reliable transportation required Job description is subject to change at supervisor's discretion at any time.
