In this role, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and troubleshooting structured cabling systems that support telecommunications, data networks, and security systems across various commercial and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure reliable network infrastructure, enabling seamless communication and data transfer for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize advanced diagnostic tools, and develop your skills in telecommunications and network installation. Responsibilities Install and terminate structured cabling systems including Cat5, Cat6, fiber optic cables, and low-voltage electrical wiring in accordance with schematics and industry standards. Use diagnostic tools such as network testers, and telecommunications testing equipment to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues. Perform cable management tasks such as cable routing, labeling, securing cables with hand tools, and ensuring compliance with safety standards like NEC (National Electrical Code). Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, provide technical support during installation, and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service. Qualifications Proven experience in structured cabling installation or as a service technician within telecommunications or IT environments. Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and telecommunication wiring diagrams. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
