Installation Technician Trainee Advance Alarms, Inc - 4.5 Broken Arrow, OK Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Cable systems installation Post-sales product instruction Electronic meters Network installation Customer training Electrical cable pulling Residential communication system installation projects Equipment installation Software installation Electronics voltage testing AV installation within residential environment Drills Low-voltage equipment installation Wiring and circuitry work Residential telecommunications installation Full Job Description An installation technician trainee does not have any licenses and mainly assists licensed technicians on installation jobs. There work is completely directed and monitored by a licensed technician. Requirements for a trainee before moving to licensing; Must have successfully completed three (3) of each of these types of jobs; residential pre-wires, commercial pre-wires, residential trim-outs and commercial trim-outs both with supervision and camera jobs to include network, setup recorder, apps and customer training.
Demonstrate ability to:
(1) fully program a system (2) put a system on line (3)set up apps (4) train customers (5) use a voltage meter (6) find and read installation manuals (7) adjust a motion and glass breaks and knowledge of when to adjust (8)wire and install residential fire devices (9)spend a week running Service calls with a service technician and complete an On Call rotation with a technician and (10) procure meter, drill and other necessary tools. Upon successful completion of the above mentioned proficiencies, a recommendation to schedule trainee to begin license class may be made.
