Location:
Hillsboro, OR Data Center Cabling Technician (Entry-Level Welcome) Join a team at the forefront of modern infrastructure, where you'll help power the networks that keep businesses, cloud platforms, and critical systems running. This hands-on role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with tools, solving problems, and building something tangible every day. What You'll Do + Install, maintain, and decommission structured cabling systems (copper & fiber) in data center environments + Work with network hardware, including Cat5/Cat6 cabling and related equipment + Perform cable routing, ladder rack installation, and seismic bracing + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings + Conduct cable testing, troubleshooting, and labeling to ensure quality and performance + Assist with fiber splicing and support live service swaps + Maintain clean, organized, and well-documented work areas + Coordinate with team members and stakeholders while providing regular project updates Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
