Schedule:
Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM. Top Three Skillsets 1. Structured cabling experience, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of copper and fiber infrastructure. 2. Expertise in Cat5/6 and fiber installation, termination, patch panel setup, and cable testing using Fluke and OTDR tools. 3. Experience in telecommunications or similar industrial/production environments (e.g., data centers, warehouses, distribution centers) with strong operational, logistics, and troubleshooting capabilities. Key job responsibilities Partner with cable vendors to install, inspect and troubleshoot cabling Installation and maintenance of copper and fiber cable infrastructure Install, test and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling, including patch panels and patch cords Ensure that the Data Center and vendor installations comply with all installation practices Report current status via ticketing system, status reports, email and slack Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects Maintain accurate records and document problems and processes to successfully draft and execute changes within data centers Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain site cleanliness Work with a partner to move integrated enterprise equipment from loading docks into planned positions Manage, check and coordinate all materials to be delivered to site daily Carry cell phone for communication, information, and emergencies Infrastructure Delivery Install Technician Our Infrastructure team is responsible for day to day installation of servers and network equipment, structured cabling, project work and capacity management. This technician will also be involved with installation of structured cabling, management of infrastructure inventory levels, physical installation of network and server racks and/or devices. This position requires the successful candidate report to a site location. You will work in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network. You will launch cutting edge server technologies and solve diverse networking impairments. You will quickly and accurately assess a wide range of infrastructure issues, which requires a good understanding of computers, servers, switches and various networking devices from both a hardware and software perspective and a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology. To be successful in this role you should possess technical aptitude, written and oral communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with people in a wide variety of situations. In addition, you must possess strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability. You will be able to leverage your experience exercising high levels of initiative, judgment, and diplomacy. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fairless Hills, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
