Description:

Job Description We are seeking a Level 1 Cable Technician to support installation projects within a fast-paced data center environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in physically demanding work who are looking to learn a new trade and build a long-term career in the rapidly growing data center industry. No prior telecom experience is required. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Candidates with construction, trade, military, manufacturing, or general labor backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Pull and route cabling throughout the data center in accordance with installation standards Support low-voltage cable pulling activities and ensure cables are organized, secured, and labeled correctly Assemble, stack, and drill equipment racks Scan, label, and port equipment to ensure accurate identification and documentation Assist with general installation tasks while learning from experienced technicians Work safely on ladders and scissor lifts throughout the workday Follow all site safety policies and installation procedures Use hand tools and installation equipment safely and effectively Maintain a clean and organized work area Support additional installation tasks as directed by senior technicians What You Bring Experience working in physically demanding environments such as construction, trades, military, manufacturing, or general labor Strong work ethic and positive attitude Reliable attendance and proven dependability Ability to work on ladders and lifts throughout a 10-hour shift Ability to work outdoors during hot and cold weather conditions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Safety-focused mindset Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasks Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced team environment Nice to Have OSHA 10 certification Low-voltage installation experience Cable pulling experience Telecommunications or structured cabling experience Hands-on electrical experience Military Experience Experience operating scissor lifts Why Apply? •$20.00/hr.
