Responsibilities Install and maintain low voltage systems including security alarms, camera systems, and communication systems. Design system layouts based on schematics and customer requirements. Utilize remote access software to troubleshoot and resolve system issues. Perform regular inspections and testing of installed systems to ensure functionality. Collaborate with other technicians to detect and resolve technical problems efficiently. Adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during all installations and repairs. Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns in a professional manner. Requirements Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and practices. Familiarity with intrusion detection systems (IDS) and their applications. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Certification in low voltage systems or related fields is preferred. Experience with cabling installation techniques and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
