Temp-to-Hire A growing industrial manufacturing company in the Greenspoint area is seeking an experienced Cable Assembly Technician to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis . This is a hands-on production role for someone who enjoys working with cables, connectors, and electrical components and takes pride in producing high-quality assemblies. What You'll Do Build service loops, bridles, and power, control, and instrumentation cable assemblies Read and follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, pinout schedules, bills of material, and work instructions Measure, cut, prepare, route, bundle, terminate, and assemble cables and connectors Perform cable preparation and connector terminations according to specifications Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and proper workmanship Complete production travelers and document materials, measurements, inspections, and test results Perform electrical inspections and testing, including continuity, pinout, and insulation resistance testing as required Identify material issues, drawing discrepancies, or quality concerns and communicate them to the appropriate team member Assist with final inspection, testing, packaging, and shipment preparation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area What We're Looking For Previous hands-on experience with cable assembly, wire harnesses, electrical assembly, service loops, or similar industrial products Experience preparing cables and assembling or terminating electrical connectors Ability to read and follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and detailed work instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Comfortable using hand tools and equipment associated with cable and electrical assembly Ability to accurately measure, document, and inspect completed work Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to work effectively in a hands-on manufacturing environment Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: Industrial or offshore cable assemblies Drilling equipment Marine applications Fiber optic assemblies Electrical testing equipment IPC workmanship standards Why Consider This Opportunity?
