• 25 per hour Horizons Communications is a member-owned, locally based telecommunications cooperative serving the Lubbock area and surrounding communities for more than 75 years.

We operate a 100% FTTP (fiber-to-the-premise) network , providing fast, reliable internet and phone services to homes and businesses. We are seeking a dependable Installation & Repair (I&R) Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber-based services. Prior experience is preferred, but entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Install, test, and troubleshoot fiber-based internet and voice services Install and support customer equipment (ONTs, routers, gateways, modems) Diagnose and repair service issues in residential and commercial settings Work with fiber and Ethernet cabling (training provided if needed) Complete scheduled service calls efficiently and professionally Communicate clearly with customers and document completed work Participate in rotating weekend and on-call schedules Maintain consistent punctuality and reliable attendance; Requirements High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces Strong reliability, accountability, and customer service skills Ability to work independently after training Pay & Benefits $20

• 25 per hour starting based on experience and qualifications Overtime paid at 1.
