Job Description Job Description Summary:
The purpose of this position is to support Toll Collection and Intelligent Transportation. This is accomplished by configuring, deploying/installing equipment, monitoring and maintaining systems, troubleshooting systems issues, testing equipment and applications, and working with vendors. Other duties include building equipment chassis, mounting tolling and CCTV equipment on roadway structures, installing/pulling wire and cable, configuring DMS signs, installation and configuration of RWIS sensors, documenting maintenance issues and various other devices. This position requires technicians to be on a rotating on call schedule and be able to obtain a Class B CDL license if requested. This position will also require flexibility with schedule for night and weekend work due to installations of new projects and emergency type issues needing immediate attention.

$20.07/hourly -
Midpoint:
$26.41/hourly
Retention Bonus:

Responsibilities:
Supports and maintains Tolling and ITS systems and equipment by installing, troubleshooting problems and equipment failures, replacing defective parts, upgrading and installing software, completing cabling and wiring, and documenting work. Completes cabling and wiring of ITS cabinets and gantries. This is achieved through means of understanding color coded cable. Documenting work through ticketing system and responding to emails and phone calls. Interfaces equipment to hardware, configures IP based equipment by running commands with the ability to understand Linux OS. Works with analytics team to resolve issues. Installs CCTV pole and mounts (up to 100ft in air), tolling gantry mounts for antennas and cameras, deploying UPS batteries (which weigh up to 75 lbs.) and loads and transports tolling cabinets via bucket trucks. Installs loops at tolling locations which requires continuous bending and standing for prolonged periods of time.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
Up to 1 year of experience 6 months/1 year of education or training beyond a HS diploma Ability to operate bucket truck controls at various heights Ability to load/unload equipment which may weigh up to 100lbs.
