Piper Companies is looking for a Cable Technician to join a consulting company specializing in structured cabling, AV systems, access control, and more. This is based in Red Oak, TX and offers a great deal of OT pay! This is a 3-4 month project with potential to get brought onto future projects. Cable Technician:

Supports project leads in installing, terminating, and testing low-voltage systems across multiple technologies. Interprets blueprints and understands full project/task scope. Tracks material and tool inventory on-site. Follows all safety requirements (OSHA). Performs quality installations per industry/manufacturer standards. Builds and installs telecom room components (racks, ladder rack, grounding, bonding). Installs devices such as card readers, cameras, and WAPs. Qualifications of the

Cable Technician:

Positive attitude, team player mentality, and strong customer service. Prior cabling experience is ideal or fiber optics knowledge. Experience re-cutting sheets. OSHA 10 certification in construction or OSHA 30 cert. Compensation for the

Cable Technician:

$50,000 to $60,000 (based on experience) GREAT overtime opportunity to make up to $140,000 to $160,000 annually.
