Responsibilities:
Lead crews in the installation, troubleshooting, service, and programming/commissioning of security and access control devices Coordinate daily job site activities and ensure projects stay on schedule Install door hardware (mag locks, electric strikes, etc.) Install, service, troubleshoot, and oversee CCTV system deployments Read and interpret access control and CCTV blueprints, drawings, and project documentation Perform system testing, commissioning, and quality control inspections Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights) Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, etc.) Mentor junior technicians and ensure workmanship meets project specifications and industry standards
Requirements:
5+ years of commercial installation experience with access control and CCTV systems Previous experience leading crews or supervising technicians on commercial projects Strong working knowledge of telecom, security, and data networks Experience programming and commissioning access control and CCTV systems Ability to read blueprints, manage project workflows, and coordinate with customers and project managers Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots) Willingness to travel to job sites within Texas as needed Why Work with Next Level Technician in Red Oak, TX?
