Hunt Electric, Inc. is currently hiring a Technology Service Technician to fill a position with today's largest industry leader. We are seeking a service orientated, independent working individual with 5-10 years of experience. This person will work exclusively with clients helping troubleshoot and installing low voltage. We are based out of Utah and have more than 30 years of experience working in various departments of the cabling industry.
Major Duties:
Being Self Reliant with the ability to troubleshoot Low Voltage Systems. Ability to manage service calls and small jobs. Experience with Bluebeam, Excel, Outlook, Word, & scheduling software. Match Electrical Schedule. Complete
FOCUS/PTP
forms, process change/work orders, and create and process purchase orders. Excellent communication skills with customers and co-workers while maintain a good attitude and leadership skills. Coordinate job with customer and complete task in a timely manner. General installation and termination of all system cabling. Dress and terminate communication closets, patch panels, Cat5e-6A, Coax, AV, Security, and DAS systems. Assist with cable testing results uploaded to project cloud. Ability to understand method of building closets and frames. Terminate all types of fiber optic cable. Read and understand construction blueprints and drawings. Understands AV, DAS, SEC, Wi-Fi hardware and cabling standards. Actively contributes to a positive team environment. Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours. Be s self starter. Other duties or locations assigned by Manager. Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of color code, both fiber & copper. Understand all fire stopping procedure and techniques. Hold at least 4 manufacture certifications. Dependable and punctual. Good troubleshooting skills. Valid Driver's License.
