Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair cabling systems for telecommunication networks
- Perform network installations and upgrades, including Ethernet and telephone systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with network connectivity and performance
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment to complete installations and repairs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Provide field service support to clients, including on-site troubleshooting and maintenance
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards during all work activities
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cable technician or in a related field
- Knowledge of low voltage cabling systems and components
- Familiarity with network installation practices and procedures
- Proficiency in using hand tools and specialized equipment for cabling work
- Understanding of Ethernet protocols and network configurations
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with Cisco routers and other networking equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
