Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components using schematics and diagnostic tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and industrial machinery to ensure peak operational efficiency. Replace or repair vehicle systems including brakes, suspensions, shocks & struts, air brakes, HVAC systems, and alignments. Fabricate parts or modify equipment using welding and hand tools to meet specific repair requirements. Conduct tire service, wheel alignments, and perform heavy lifting tasks safely with appropriate equipment. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs performed in compliance with safety standards. Assist in equipment assembly and disassembly during repairs or upgrades while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background in heavy truck repair and automotive diagnostics. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and vehicle electrical systems. Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting complex mechanical issues efficiently. Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software. Experience working with heavy equipment operation such as Combo Units, Vacuum Truck, forklifts, Semi's, and industrial equipment. Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks including tire service, brake repair, shocks & struts replacement. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members. $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
