Job Description

Job Summary Join our team as a Diesel Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing a wide range of diesel trucks and industrial vehicles. In this role, you'll diagnose, troubleshoot, and service equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will keep our fleet running smoothly, supporting construction and industrial operations. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment, including semi diesel trucks, using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmission servicing, suspension adjustments, wheel alignments, and hydraulic system repairs to maximize equipment uptime. Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific repair requirements. Troubleshoot electrical systems including automotive diagnostics for engines, HVAC systems, lighting, sensors, and wiring harnesses. Inspect and service vehicle components such as air brakes, shocks & struts, tires (including tire service), and perform heavy lifting tasks safely with appropriate equipment. Use technical schematics to interpret complex mechanical or electrical issues; follow safety protocols during all repair procedures. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and service history to ensure compliance with safety standards and warranty requirements. Requirements Proven experience working with diesel trucks or dealership environments.. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and diagnostic software for automotive or industrial repair. customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs or maintenance needs.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
