Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Diesel Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Conduct brake repairs, tire service, and electrical system troubleshooting. Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts when necessary. Work on HVAC systems related to diesel machinery. Repair or replace shocks, struts, and other suspension components. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs. Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and systems. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Experience with HVAC systems is a plus. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and repair. Ability to perform brake repair and tire service effectively. Certification as a Service Technician is advantageous. Must possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
