• Monday thru Saturday, flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary. Overtime, weekend work and nights may be required Shift
• Late morning to afternoon start, swing shift Job Description The Ready Mix Mechanic/Shop Foreman is responsible for safely repairing and Maintaining the fleet at Core ready Mix.

They are responsible for communicating with other team members in order to help maintain success. The Job requires the following duties: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Be familiar with DOT, state and local guidelines Be familiar with State Mine codes

• Be familiar and able to repair: Diesel Engines Transmissions, manual and Automatic Vehicle electrical systems Vehicle hydraulic systems Vehicle pneumatic systems Tires suspension electronics Mixer equipment Heavy equipment/ loader repairs Prefered to have some welding and torching ability Upkeep and cleaning of exterior and Interior of shop, Managing other employees On call for morning shift Working by yourself at times Job requires the following motions: o Climbing o Bending o Squatting o Frequent lifting of extension chutes (up to 75 lbs.

) o Stretching o Driving/sitting and shifting gears o Out Door covered shop Can be exposed to extremes of hot and cold weather Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers and customers Thorough knowledge of DOT Regulations Perform other work related duties as assigned This position requires a person who is self-motivated, professional, and willing to be a team player Requirements 5+ plus years commercial mechanic experience 25+ preferred High School Diploma (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Must have safe driving record, and preferred to have Arizona Commercial Class A or B Driver's License Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as a pre-employment physical ability test to be considered No more than two moving violations within the past 24 months No serious moving violations within the past 36 months Seeking candidates with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and strong customer service skills Ability to self manage task and duties. Must adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State, and Federal regulations
