The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, as well as experience with various mechanical systems. This role is vital for ensuring the optimal performance of our fleet and machinery, which includes trucks, farm machinery, and other heavy equipment. Duties
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related components to ensure proper functionality.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
  • Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
  • Assemble and disassemble components as needed for repairs or replacements.
  • Work with hydraulics systems to maintain and repair hydraulic components.
  • Inspect suspension systems, shocks, struts, and other critical parts to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles. Experience
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role in a dealership or heavy machinery environment.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and suspension components.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools effectively to identify issues in diesel engines.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols when working with heavy machinery and power tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
