Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Technician to join our team in maintaining and repairing semi-trucks and heavy-duty vehicles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, aftertreatment/DPF systems, and other heavy truck components. This role requires the ability to work independently, perform repairs efficiently, and utilize diagnostic software effectively. Prior experience with brands such as Volvo, Freightliner, Cummins, and familiarity with diagnostic tools is highly preferred. A strong background in engine and transmission repair is a plus. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related mechanical systems on heavy-duty trucks Perform vehicle maintenance tasks including inspections, brake repairs, suspension work, and electrical system troubleshooting Repair and service diesel engine components, including aftertreatment/DPF systems Conduct repairs on heavy truck systems such as transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and mechanical assemblies Utilize diagnostic software to identify issues accurately and efficiently Work independently to troubleshoot problems and perform necessary repairs with minimal supervision Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Skills Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or Mechanic specializing in heavy-duty trucks Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, vehicle maintenance, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and aftertreatment systems Ability to diagnose issues using diagnostic software tools effectively Familiarity with brands such as Volvo, Freightliner, Cummins is strongly preferred Mechanical aptitude with experience in engine and transmission repair is advantageous Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently Good communication skills and attention to detail Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship

Pay:

$20.00 - $40.00 per hour
