Job Description

Technician III/Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic Pay:
$34.00/hour + overtime opportunities We're hiring an experienced Technician III / Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our company-owned fleet of Class 4-8 diesel and CNG vehicles and heavy equipment. If you're an experienced Diesel Technician, Fleet Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Field Service Technician with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on Class 4-8 diesel and CNG trucks and heavy equipment, including on-site repairs and road calls Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, airbrake, steering, and suspension systems Use diagnostic tools and manufacturer software, including Dossier, Cummins INSITE, and
PACCAR DAVIE4
Review Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) and complete necessary repairs Perform welding and fabrication as needed Accurately document repairs, parts used, and labor time Identify and communicate repair needs and safety concerns Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Support fleet uptime and participate in ongoing technical training Wash or detail equipment when needed
What You'll Bring Required:
High school diploma or GED 5+ years of hands-on mechanical experience OR equivalent technical certifications Experience maintaining and repairing Class 4-8 vehicles and heavy-duty equipment Proficiency with diagnostic software, diagnostic equipment, power tools, and shop equipment Valid Class C Driver's License Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and follow established safety procedures Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including frequent walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and operating tools and equipment
Preferred:
