Reeve Trucking is hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician to join Team Reeve! We are looking for a skilled, dependable mechanic with experience working on Class 8 trucks, heavy-duty diesel equipment, and trailers. If you know how to diagnose problems, turn a wrench, and get heavy equipment back on the road, we want to talk to you. What You'll Be Doing Diagnose, repair, and maintain Class 8 trucks and trailers Perform diesel engine diagnostics and repairs Diagnose electrical and electronic systems Troubleshoot truck and trailer wiring Remove and replace transmissions, clutches, differentials, and rear ends Perform major engine repairs, overhauls, and rebuilds Repair and maintain brake and air systems Perform preventative maintenance and inspections Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues Use diagnostic software, scan tools, and other professional shop equipment Identify potential problems before they become major repairs Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records Keep the shop and work areas clean, organized, and safe Follow all company safety procedures Perform other shop and fleet maintenance duties as assigned
We're Looking For Someone Who Has:
Experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Technician, Heavy-Duty Mechanic, or Fleet Mechanic Strong experience with Class 8 trucks Strong diesel engine diagnostic skills Experience with transmissions, clutches, rear ends, and differentials Experience with electrical diagnostics and truck/trailer wiring Experience with brakes and air systems Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine the proper repair Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Pride in doing quality work A safety-first mindset Why Work for Team Reeve?
