Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Diesel Tech to join our team. Sign on Bonus after 90 days!! Ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience working with diesel engines and industrial equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel vehicles and machinery. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of all repairs. Call or text for more info: 203-915-0354!! Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment, including troubleshooting and electrical. Read Repair Orders and be able to perform general and detailed repairs of all engines and components, recording detailed notes of work performed. Perform full engine rebuilds including installing injectors, pistons, liners, camshafts, cylinder heads, rods and bearings. Conduct brake repairs, alignments, and suspension work to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize power tools effectively for various repair tasks. Perform heavy lifting as required during maintenance activities. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on vehicles. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on industrial equipment. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service quality. Perform other duties as requested, including running errands when needed. Must be able to work independently and be competent. Must be able to perform annual inspections Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Tech or in a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions. The right candidate should have five plus years of experience in related field Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Experience with Class 8 trucks and Cummins, Detroit, Cat, Allison or similar brands. Ability to use a computer for diagnostic testing This position follows regulations issued by the Department of Transportation's (DOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) A valid driver's license may be required for this position.
