DIESEL TRUCK TECHNICIAN / A LEVEL

  • Windsor Locks, CT We are looking for a highly experienced and expert level Diesel Technician to join our team.
Our technicians provide service on a wide range of trucks and equipment. While Fleetmasters is a Cummins Certified Dealer, we work on most brands and we perform factory-authorized warranty service and certification training to our technicians. If you have a positive attitude and believe in doing your best, give us a call to discuss the details of this position outlined below: Scope of work: Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of heavy trucks Positive interface with service writers, parts department and managers Work with diagnostic equipment and software for troubleshooting and repairs Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
Job Requirements:
At Least 10 years of experience as a diesel truck or heavy equipment technician Experience should include engine repairs and after treatment / emissions systems Highly skilled with troubleshooting and diagnostics - including computer diagnosis Strong capability to diagnosis electrical systems Strong ability to repair heavy duty brakes, suspension, steering and other chassis related repairs Solid hydraulics experience
