MINIMUM TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

Experience recommended but not required, willing to Hire an apprentice. Graduation from high school supplemented by formal training in mechanical or related trades, and 3 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic including experience in the maintenance of diesel and gasoline powered engines. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License and have and maintain a clean driving record.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

Performs skilled mechanical work in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment. Employee is responsible for assignments ranging from minor adjustments to complete engine overhauls and component rebuilds, including gasoline, diesel, and hydraulic equipment, etc. Employee must work independently and complete assigned tasks. Full time Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00pm with an hour lunch Occasionally work on Saturday 8am-12:00pm PAY
