Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components on various heavy equipment such as box trucks, cranes, forklifts, and flat beds. Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and air brake system inspections Fabricate parts or modify equipment using welding, cutting tools, and hand tools to meet specific repair needs Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems accurately Conduct vehicle scans, diagnose problems such as air leaks or part failures, recognize problems and fix vehicles preventatively to ensure optimal performance Be able to think outside the box and do more than change parts, be able to recognize the problems to prevent future problems Be Prompt to Work and Ready to take on new tasks everyday. Requirements Proven dealership or heavy equipment mechanic experience with a strong background in diesel engine repair and vehicle systems diagnostics Familiarity with heavy truck repair, industrial equipment maintenance, and preventative maintenance servicing Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering; able to work with power tools safely Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, hydraulics, air brakes, suspension systems, and HVAC is highly desirable Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex mechanical issues Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or team members Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks regularly Valid certifications in heavy equipment operation or automotive repair are preferred but not mandatory Must come with standard tool and toolbox Join us to be part of a team dedicated to excellence in vehicle maintenance and equipment repair!
