Job Description
Full Time Monday- Friday 8 am-5 pm Looking for an experienced diesel mechanic that is able to do repairs in the shop and roadside. Will need to be able to get DOT certified Responding to road side service calls for various repairs on tractors and trailers Repairing trailers Repairing or replacing steering and braking systems Testing trucks to determine vehicle condition Running diagnostic tests / Analyzing test results Maintaining detailed records of serviced trucks Keeping the shop tidy and organized Inspects and repairs trucks and trailers in shops and roadside with diesel engines Handles routine repairs, including oil and tire changes Interprets diagnostic test results accurately Writes detailed inspection reports and repair plans Collaborates with other diesel mechanics Uses power, machine, and hand tools safely Follows all motor vehicle repair shop regulations and standards Excellent problem-solving skills Highly developed attention to detail
