Installs, changes or recharges batteries, and replaces transmissions and other parts. Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and makes adjustments.

• Fabricates special lifting or towing attachments, hydraulic systems, shields. Train operators on routine and daily maintenance and requirements. Occasionally performs installations when necessary. Makes out-of-state deliveries of projects when required. Cleans up bone yard and mechanics inside/outside work area. Duties include reviewing sign drawings, coordinating and installation of signage. Sign experience or other installation in the industry is necessary. Some weekend work and travel may be necessary. Must be a self-starter and motivated. Have the ability to perform well under pressure and the ability to work on your own when necessary.
