Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in diesel engine repair and tire repair. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can diagnose issues, perform repairs, and maintain various types of diesel-powered equipment. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Perform repairs on air brake systems, transmissions, and other essential components. Utilize soldering techniques for electrical repairs as needed. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used. Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing all tasks. Tire change and repair. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role focusing on diesel mechanics. Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in diesel engine repair and maintenance. Proficiency in working with air brake systems and transmissions. Ability to solder and suspend components as required for repairs. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to change and repair tires on trucks and trailers. Valid driver's license is preferred.
