We specialize in heavy-duty diesel diagnostics, truck and trailer repair, preventative maintenance, and roadside support. We are seeking an experienced Lead Diesel Technician to join our team and help lead shop operations with professionalism, technical expertise, and strong leadership. Position Summary The Lead Diesel Technician will assist foreman with daily shop work flow while performing advanced diagnostics and repairs on diesel trucks and trailers. This role requires a highly skilled technician who can mentor team members, maintain high-quality repair standards, and ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and trailers Provide support to foreman and lead shop technicians in daily operations Assign and prioritize repair orders to ensure timely completion Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and DOT inspections Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards Maintain accurate repair documentation and service records Communicate repair needs and updates with service advisors and customers Train and mentor junior technicians and apprentices Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications 7+ years of diesel truck and trailer repair experience Prior leadership or foreman experience required Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience with heavy-duty diesel engines and vehicle components (Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, Volvo, etc.) including clutch, transmission, aftertreatment etc. Experience with medium-duty diesel engines and vehicle components Experience with light-duty diesel engines and vehicle components Knowledge of trailer repair, air brake systems, and electrical systems, and structural Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced shop environment ASE certifications are a plus What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Paid holidays and vacation Supplemental Insurance Uniforms provided Ongoing training and advancement opportunities Supportive team environment Schedule Monday - Friday Occasional weekends or after-hours emergency work may be required Apply Today If you are an experienced diesel technician ready to take the next step into a leadership role, we want to hear from you.
