This is a key role for a highly skilled professional who can set the standard, lead by example, and help build a first-class operation.
Pay :
$25 - $35 per hour (based on experience and skill level)
  • Position Overview:
  • As our Lead Diesel Mechanic, you will be the go-to expert in the shop—responsible for diagnosing complex issues, performing high-level repairs, and helping establish processes, standards, and workflow for the entire operation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and fleet equipment at an expert level
  • Lead all shop maintenance operations and ensure quality workmanship
  • Set up shop processes, maintenance schedules, and best practices
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and major component repairs
  • Troubleshoot engines, transmissions, electrical, and after-treatment systems
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Assist in building and guiding the shop team as we grow
Requirements :
  • Extensive experience as a diesel mechanic (fleet experience strongly preferred)
  • Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of shop operations
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to set standards and mentor others
  • Own tools required
  • Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)
